“God and universe, I know and trust that you have a gift for us, one that will bring us joy, abundance, and alignment with our soul’s purpose. We surrender our desires to your divine plan, knowing that you always deliver. We are open to receiving your blessings and guidance as always”
Gabby remains the biggest blessing we have received to date. Sure we are blessed with a wonderful family, career, higher education and home but he completed our family in ways we could never imagine.
Animals are wiser than we think and more connected to God than we know. Of course, I am talking about my boy whose death anniversary is tomorrow. I have an intern who taught me things about his religion and his ready acceptance of the impermanence here. I know this but it isn’t easy to let go of loved ones. We keep asking ourselves why his death is so hard. One reason is undoubtedly that I lost my Dad as a child so death is always weird no to mention that he was buried on Christmas eve. The main reason is the suddenness of his demise without warning – there is a lesson from him – to seize life and not waste time because tomorrow isn’t promised. We only wish to tell him (as we do every day) that his soul was a gift to ours and the most precious gift we have, even now only as memories. We miss kissing and holding him but are comforted that he is at peace with our Lord. Sleep with the angels our darling. We love you more and more each day and you continue to teach us.
We wished we could have achieved more re change through OVC and will not let up EVER! It is simply taking longer than we expected and he can count on us never giving up.
An excerpt from Great I AM – Song by Jared Anderson and New Life Worship
I wanna to be close close to your side
So heaven is real and death is a lie
I wanna hear voices of angels above
Singing as one
Hallelujah Holy Holy
God almighty Great I am
Who is worthy
None beside Thee
God Almighty
I wanna be near near to your heart
Loving the world hating the dark
I want to see dry bones living again
Singing as one
Hallelujah
Holy Holy
God almighty Great I am
Who is worthy
None beside Thee
God Almighty
He’s the Great I Am Great I Am
The mountains shake before Him
The demons run and flee
At the mention of the name
King of Majesty
There is no power in hell
Or any who can stand
Before the power and the presence of the Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am
The Great I am The Great I am The Great I am……..
From the Book of Job
2 “Doubtless you are the only people who matter,
and wisdom will die with you!
3 But I have a mind as well as you;
I am not inferior to you.
Who does not know all these things?
4 “I have become a laughingstock to my friends,
though I called on God and he answered—
a mere laughingstock, though righteous and blameless!
5 Those who are at ease have contempt for misfortune
as the fate of those whose feet are slipping.
6 The tents of marauders are undisturbed,
and those who provoke God are secure—
those God has in his hand.[a]
7 “But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
or let the fish in the sea inform you.
9 Which of all these does not know
that the hand of the Lord has done this?
10 In his hand is the life of every creature
and the breath of all mankind.
11 Does not the ear test words
as the tongue tastes food?
12 Is not wisdom found among the aged?
Does not long life bring understanding?
13 “To God belong wisdom and power;
counsel and understanding are his.
14 What he tears down cannot be rebuilt;
those he imprisons cannot be released.
15 If he holds back the waters, there is drought;
if he lets them loose, they devastate the land.
16 To him belong strength and insight;
both deceived and deceiver are his.
17 He leads rulers away stripped
and makes fools of judges.
18 He takes off the shackles put on by kings
and ties a loincloth[b] around their waist.
19 He leads priests away stripped
and overthrows officials long established.
20 He silences the lips of trusted advisers
and takes away the discernment of elders.
21 He pours contempt on nobles
and disarms the mighty.
22 He reveals the deep things of darkness
and brings utter darkness into the light.
23 He makes nations great, and destroys them;
he enlarges nations, and disperses them.
24 He deprives the leaders of the earth of their reason;
he makes them wander in a trackless waste.
25 They grope in darkness with no light;
he makes them stagger like drunkards.
